values & ethos
Regardless of our technical expertise, we are unlikely to thrive if our basic human needs for safety, belonging and purposefulness are not met. Acknowledging these needs underpins my ethos and approach to enable better dialogue and engagement.
In my coaching I provide the personal reflection and learning space we frequently miss when working on change and transition. I work human-to-human, hence I do not use AI tools in my coaching and facilitation work. You get my expertise, knowledge, skills and wholehearted presence when you work with me. I bring this ethos and approach to all my facilitation and coaching work, whether in a business or not-for-profit sector.

Facilitation
My purpose as facilitator is to catalyse the capacity of organisations and individuals to respond to our sustainability challenges. Whether you work directly in a sustainability context, or are wondering how the transition to sustainability will impact on your team or organisation. I often use the Planetary Boundaries framework in facilitating strategic leadership workshops or events where the aim is to convene key stakeholders to agree a way forwards. We need leaders to understand and engage with the impacts of biodiversity loss, freshwater scarcity, plastic and chemical pollution, and the competition for the natural materials essential for transitioning to renewable energies.

coaching
I coach science and technical leads to develop their leadership and people skills. However my coaching purpose is wider: helping people to build capacity for their own transitions, often into new jobs or roles. My coaching complements group facilitation through 1:1 support for better awareness of themselves, each other and the environment on which we depend.
I mostly coach global clients in the energy, science and NGO sectors in Europe, US, Asia and Africa. I also help build coaching capacity in teams and organisations through coaching skills training.
